Sending Flowers for Halloween

Thinking about sending flowers for the Halloween Holiday...

My favorite fall holiday happens to be Halloween.  It's a time of whimsical enchantment, filled with "Ghoulish Fun".  With that in mind, I always try to send the spirit of Halloween to my friends in Florida.  Most of friends, however, are adults on diets and care very little for a basket of candy, but have shown great appreciation for a flower centerpiece that fills their home with spirit of the season.

Pumpkins filled with fall tone flowers have always been a big hit.  Selecting flowers in the darker tones, such as purples & burgundy, creates a richer, more intense floral display.  Purple hydrangeas and burgundy roses are perfect flowers for this style of flower arrangement.  If they are of high quality and well cared for, they should last for quite a long time.

If you're like me and enjoy the more edgy flower designs, I would recommend the famous, "Pumpkin Patch".  This is certainly a whimsical and unique interpretation of a pumpkin patch.

Live, miniature pumpkins in a fall field.  The "Pumpkin Patch" has been extremely popular among the lucky recipients over the years.  This fresh flower composition can be purchased from Petals of Boca, a florist in Boca Raton, Florida.

If you're planning to send this flower arrangement to someone special, please keep in mind that due to its popularity,  it's recommended that you place your order well in advance.

If you're looking for more traditional Halloween flower arrangements,

then consider sending the "Harvest Pumpkin" or the "Wicked Eve" as shown below from left to right:
